The Women's Business Center at Cornerstone Alliance is pleased to bring you an exciting new opportunity as part of Promoting Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs (POWER). POWER: Inside Out is a Women’s Development Series designed for you and will take you on a journey to becoming unstoppable. This series will create space for you to take time to think slow, to lean in and learn more about who you are, how you are showing up and how to make yourself a priority in this fast paced world.

Unstoppable women believe in themselves. They take time to understand themselves on a deeper level. They persevere through the tough times. They surround themselves with mentors and other amazing leaders. They are avid learners. They take action.

Designed and led by Tracy Braman, Associate Certified Coach, POWER: Inside Out will go from October 2018 through August 2019. It has been created with a vision to provide you with a myriad of learning opportunities including in person development sessions every other month, monthly blogs and weekly posts.

Surround yourself with people who want to learn. Step out of your comfort zone and into your courage zone. Be deliberate about investing in yourself.

Changing habits, transforming how you think and becoming your best self takes time, energy and true commitment. There is no quick fix or shortcut when it comes to investing in yourself.

POWER: Inside Out has been designed and built on the principle that learning alone does not create positive change. You have to apply what you have learned to truly transform your thinking, your actions and your life.

The workshop will meet once every other month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the offices of Cornerstone Alliance at 80 West Main Street in Benton Harbor. Meeting dates are Wednesdays October 17, December 5, February 20, April 17, June 19 and August 21. SPACE IS LIMITED, so don’t delay.  Registration for the entire series is highly recommended. The cost of the series is $35 per workshop.

October: Being More Instead of Doing More.
Business plans are important. Building strong relationships with clients is critical. What comes first is building the authentic relationship with yourself. Understanding why you do what you do, embracing all of who you are and learning to be vulnerable.
December:  Be Mindful instead of Mind Full.
Mindfulness, resilience and embracing the power of saying no. Learn how to build resilience and shift from mind full to mindful. Understanding the value of boundaries in life and shifting your view on the word no.
February: Be the Author of Your Own Story.
We are the authors of our own stories. What are you known for? Where is your time spent? Learn the power of your own choices and to redefine the “A” word: Accountability.
April: Be Your Best Self.
Are you running on empty? Do you sometimes feel that life is moving so fast, you don’t have time to get done what you need to before something else pops up? It’s times like this when we need to think slow, to prioritize ourselves and learn the power of filling our own cup to ensure we are truly showing up in our own lives.
June: The Power of True Connection.
In this day and age the connection I am talking about is not via your text messages or social media. True connection is proven to improve health, decrease the likelihood of depression and extend your life. Learn how to connect with those around you, nurture the relationships you need and say no to those you don’t need.
August: What Does Healthy Look Like for You?
Understanding what drives human behaviors and choices when it comes to health. Learn about caring for your whole self which includes nutrition, emotional health and physical activity. Gain insight on how to think differently when it comes to your personal health and your journey.
