Professional development series are multi-disciplinary and are designed to help you address the challenges of launching and growing your business. Each program helps you expand your leadership skills relevant to specific stages in your business development. Classes may run simultaneously. Training is staggered so you can "get in, where you fit in." Classes include:
- CORE FOUR Business Planning Course. Course curriculum includes:
- Setting and focusing on both personal and business goals.
- Understanding how the marketplace works, pricing, the competition, and the customers.
- Managing cash flow including startup and monthly costs, bookkeeping options, and beak even point (the point at which the enterprise is profitable). and
- Daily business operations including human resources, certifications and leagal issues.About the class:
- Class consists of six 3-hour sessions.
- The registration fee of $150.00 is required to register.
- E-Business For Small Business. Internet group training sessions in the business uses of the Internet, including the do’s and don’ts of website design and development and electronic commerce are provided for WBC clients and/or participants.
- Introduction to QuickBooks for Small Business.
WHAT: During 3 consecutive Mondays, you will learn tips and tricks for working faster and more efficiently in
QuickBooks. Learn how to prepare and interpret important financial reports, create your company’s books from
scratch, set up accounts, enter and process checks, bills and payments, and much more...Class includes a learning manual and one-half hour of telephone support following the class with Petersen
Computer Consulting, LLC.BY: The class will be led by Peni Petersen of Petersen Computer Consulting, LLC. Ms. Petersen is a trained
QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.FEE: $145.00. Reservations required. Class size is limited to 10 students with two instructors per class so students

- Advanced QuickBooks for Small Business.
WHAT: During 3 consecutive Mondays, the Advanced Quickbooks class will cover the more advanced features
of QuickBooks such as payroll, customizing invoices and other forms, job costing features of QuickBooks,
inventory, and sales tax. Participants must take the Introduction to QuickBooks class (or have used QuickBooks for
at least three months) before taking the Advanced QuickBooks class. Class includes a learning manual and one-
half hour of telephone support following the class with Petersen Computer Consulting, LLC.
