CORE FOUR Business Planning Course

Entrepreneurs will be presented with information on how to plan a business, and will cover marketing, cash flow, and operations planning. The course will also present "Success Planning," which focuses on the personal goals of the business owner, business ethics, and other personal development topics.
CASBS recommends the following individuals attend the CORE FOUR® course: people with a business idea, struggling business owners, owners of growing or changing businesses, and prospective borrowers.
The course will be held Conference Center & SB-CEU located at 490 South Paw Paw Street in Lawrence, MI. The event is co-sponsored by Fifth Third Bank.

Introduction To QuickBooks

Become familiar with QuickBooks by spending 3 evenings with a QuickBooks expert who can answer your QuickBooks questions. “Introduction to QuickBooks” seminar in March, classes will be held on March 12th, 19th and 26th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Alliance, located at 38 W. Wall Street, in Benton Harbor, MI. Deadline to register for the class is March 7, 2012. Class size will be small – limited to 10 participants with two instructors so students get the attention they need.
Small business owners using or planning to use QuickBooks in their business are encouraged to attend. Learn how to:
· Create your company's books from scratch
· Set up accounts
· Enter and process checks, bills, and payments
· Prepare and interpret important financial reports and more
The cost to attend the 3-evening “Introduction to QuickBooks” class is $145.00. Design Your Own Small Business Website

Design Your Own Small Business Website seminar on March 14th and 15th, 2012. The seminar will be held at Cornerstone Alliance located at 38 West Wall Street in Benton Harbor, MI from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cost to participate is $45. Deadline to register for the class is March 9, 2012. The class is limited to 10 participants.
Participants will be instructed how to build their own small business website in this “hands on” step-by step seminar. During this class, students will create their own website and have it hosted on the Internet without buying software or hiring a web designer. (Unique domain name registration fees can run from $15 to $23 in additional fees.) Laptop computers will be provided for use during the class, but you may bring your own if you wish.
In the two sessions, you will learn how to register for the service, start and maintain your own website. Facilitator for the seminar is Trent Watford of Tech Help (mytechhelper.net).

Taking Your Website to the Next Level seminar on March 21, 2012. The seminar will be held at Cornerstone Alliance located at 38 W. Wall Street in Benton Harbor, MI from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Deadline to register for the class is March 16, 2012.
Taking your website to the next level is designed for entrepreneurs and existing small business owners. If you have already created a Google website and would like to learn how to improve it, this two hour class will train you on some advanced topics. Learn how to edit images, create graphics such as buttons and banners, and use a tool for a professional-looking slide show. You will also receive an introduction to Google Analytics, a free service to help monitor traffic to your site. There will also be time to ask questions about Google Sites.
